Zoe Brooks' paintings and drawings explore the natural world around us. Known for her vast backgrounds her work becomes specimens of interpretation.
Zoe works out of Adelaide to produce multi-media performative sculptural installations that examine cultural theory and contemporary societal issues that become fused together by affective states of emotion. An auto-ethnographic approach to writing and making, she explores the relational qualifications between languages form and content; as a series of psychological and physical responses.
