Sunshine March
Sunshine aims to create high quality, thoughtful and engaging artwork. More broadly, she works to encourage and challenge the general community to engage with and participate in visual arts. Sunshine produces ceramic cups, bowls, vases and jewellery for exhibition and retail. She also leads Community Arts projects and runs workshops and classes. Collections of Sunshine’s work were selected for “Adelaide; 20 years of Urban Cow Studio” at Urban Cow Studio, Adelaide in 2014, “365 cups”, presented by Worth Gallery and Fisher Jeffries as part of Jam Factory’s 40th birthday celebrations, Adelaide in 2013, “Locavore” at the Jam Factory in 2012, Craftsouth’s 2010 Wish List exhibition and Helpmann Academy’s 2009 Graduate exhibition. Currently, Sunshine is Artist in Residence and Tutor at Henley and Grange Arts Society. She worked as facilitator for Westcare Karpandi’s Community Arts sessions and was an Artist in Residence at Parks Centre. She completed the Bachelor of Visual Arts and Applied Design at Adelaide College of the Arts in 2008. |
