Margie Goodchild
Tangerine Meg creates Bold Art for Bold Souls! Tangerine Meg happily drenches her bold art in vibrant watercolour. A full deep breath of blue sea and sky at the beach or a moment drinking in the fresh sights at the farmers market leave her grateful and magically recharged. Even within the confines of her suburban garden are mini worlds of life and detailed beauty. She is 'specially drawn to the luxuriant generosity of nasturtiums in bloom and the bright ripe colours of laden fruit trees. To transform into a jungle? Just add a cat! Exhibitions From her first solo exhibition in 1993, “Images From Home” to her second in 2016, “Happy to Be Here” at the old Goolwa Police Station, Tangerine Meg has raised 2 young men, and been involved in many group exhibitions - notably in 1996 and 2000 she was invited to exhibit in 2 displays curated by her mentor Ruth Tuck. Tangerine Meg's artwork has been purchased for private collections in Norway, USA, UK, New Zealand, Canada and most states of Australia. Recently Tangerine Meg has been participating in both SALA (South Australian Living Artists) and Adelaide Fringe exhibitions as much as possible.
