Humanity has long used animals and anthropomorphic creatures as a means of understanding our own nature, moral and social rules, facets of identity, and the forces of nature. In our modern age of science, as the use of symbols and language with our understanding, so has our relationship with animals and the natural world. "Totem's" explores these issues through watercolour illustrations based on traditional mythology, urban legend, and the artist's imagination.
