Vintage Fabric Cards
"While nursing in the mid 90's at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, my lunch break often had me being inspired by the fantastic wares across the road at Urban Cow. So much so that I ditched the uniform and studied a Bachelor of Visual Art at Underdale.
After living in Scotland for five years I'm now home and loving life in Semaphore with my beautiful family who inspire my work to be filled with rich colours, laughter and love."

Earth Greetings are designed by SA based graphic artist Heide Hackworth.
"My aim is to spread environmental awareness through sustainable design. At the moment this means printing my products carbon neutral in Australia with vegetable inks on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. In the future as more Earth-aware paper and methods become available this could change.
I like to imagine an Earth which we live in harmony with, with respectful appreciation for nature. Native flora and fauna exudes this harmony and I find perfect beauty within its imperfections. I find this a constant and always surprising source of inspiration for my designs which im truly grateful for."

"My cards are positive, colourful and humorous. I use watercolour and
digital collage to create the designs. The words are inspired by quaint
expressions and things kids say. I turned old metaphors, like 'Cat's
Pyjamas', 'Bee's Knees' and 'Best thing since sliced bread', into unusual
terms of endearment in the You are the' series.
There are more than 50 designs in the collection. I have designed cards
that are versatile and unique cards for special occasions. There are cards
for Birthdays, Mother's Day, Weddings, Babies, Farewells, and Christmas."

Lovebirds Note Cards
Naomi Murrell hearts drawing and design. A lover of words, pictures and screen printed textiles, she lives in Adelaide where she combines creative work with cups of tea and folk music appreciation.
Naomi's whimsical work is inspired by what she finds when she gets lost in her imagination.
With more than six years of commercial design experience under her wing, a little over a year ago she went independent. Her debut collection draws us in with 'A Little Love', featuring a series of playful screen prints and eye catching wooden and perspex jewellery. Hand-printed letterpress notecards and hand screen printed canvas bags and cushions complete the collection of Australian made wares. 'A Little Love' is big on hope, happiness and the things that make us smile.

Imprints Studio in the Adelaide Hills is the creative den of Jorji Gardener producing both art prints and high quality hand made cards.
The card range of over 30 designs are made from hand-carved lino blocks, printed on fine Unryushi paper, which results in a beautiful combination of textures and colour.
I fell in love with lino carving while studying printmaking in NSW and continued here with the inspirational Dianne Longley. Although I have experimented with other techniques, I still enjoy the flexibility and challenges of lino printing the most.
I am greatly influenced by my years as a landscape designer in Cairns, drawing plans and botanical illustrations and am continually inspired by the patterns of nature, fabrics and Eastern styles of art.

As the English-born offspring of two Australian cartoonists, I have spent most of my life wondering a) where I belong and b) why everyone seems to take life so seriously. During a prolonged return visit to England (which had helped me decide that neither of these questions really needed answering), two rabbits hopped into my head and refused to move out. They hitched a ride with me back to Australia in 2001 and have been playing havoc with my head ever since. They occasionally grudgingly make room for dogs, cats, flying pigs and pandas. I am constantly encouraging the whole menagerie to make their homes elsewhere in the form of cards, handmade prints and digital prints, but I seem to be stuck with them for life. When they occasionally leave me alone you can find me at my studio at the Hahndorf Academy, mucking around with pencils, paper, acids and printing inks.
